Night Festival ☺

Last day of the Singapore Night Festival, our first stop was the National Design Centre and there was a really huge installation in the middle. And then we also got a led balloon ^^

There was also a live band performance outside SMU and then we went over to the opposite as well and saw the art gallery about Genesis. There were series of photographs which was so well-captured. And we saw many tribal portraits as well mainly from Africa and Papua New Guinea. There were also animals and natural terrains all in black and white. It was really good.

There was also another gallery featuring Singapore's history on newspaper print. There's everything there! All major events that happened in Singapore, they have it on newspaper print. Mas Selamat, Bukit Ho Swee fire, National Day, Pink Dot etc...

And this is how the balloon looks like. They placed a single unit of LED light inside the balloon prior to inflating it. And the LED changes color too, from red to blue, green etc. So cool.

With a Pinch of Salt

Had lunch (more like dinner actually)  last week with Melissa at With a Pinch of Salt and luckily for us, the place wasn't packed or closed or anything. We took a damn long journey there cause we were stupid enough to take train to Bedok and then a long bus journey. WHICH we could have just took Bus 12 and alighted and walk 5 mins there.

Ginger tea // Mango Passionfuit Soda

I think this was called Farmer's Platter or something. Basically it is a mixture of most of the sides they sell into one platter. There's sausage, fish bites, potato wedges, chicken wings and nuggets. They actually have really fancy names for all the individual sides but I feel like the only nice thing was the fish bites. The rest are just really average. Don't really recommend this at all.

Chicken Cordon Bleu

Garlic Crusted Dory

The chicken cordon bleu is alright... The meat is quite juicy though. I think this is a place I will go back to if I want to eat something cheap. (This costs only $13.90) But the nice thing is that they will help you plan a birthday party if you intend to celebrate it there.
